To save her, he betrays his companions. The young magician Tyen has left his homeland and is wandering through the thousand worlds in search of a way to transform the magical book Pergama back into a human. He asks Valhan, the most powerful magician he can find, for help. However, Valhan demands a favor in return: Tyen must spy on a rebel group that is fighting against Valhan's rule. Then the rebels succeed in killing Valhan. Tyen cannot believe that all his efforts have been in vain - and when he discovers a clue that Valhan is still alive, he takes up his trail...
