The private construction law in Spain has been reformed with the enactment of the Ley de Ordenación de la Edificación (LOE). Anyone dealing with Spanish construction law will need to engage with the legal situation before and after this reform. This book aims to contribute to that discussion. The work examines the liability for defects of the contractor in Spanish private law following the enactment of the LOE. At the same time, it also presents the legal situation prior to the reform of private construction law, highlighting the rulings of the highest courts.
