When Alina Bach meets Jannik Küster, a love full of joie de vivre, empathy and respect begins. But then there is a rude awakening: More and more Jannik is introverted, infinitely tired, unable to participate in life, and soon he seems completely disinterested in togetherness. For nine years, Bach accompanies her partner through exhaustion and despair, calling it "our journey through Jannik's most difficult time." Based on her own experience, she places their situation at the center of her report.
