First, I would like to briefly discuss the compositional style of Robert Schumann and his compositional works embedded in different periods of creativity, not least because this introduction allows me to view the "Kinderszenen" against the backdrop of the overall context of Schumann's musical oeuvre. To address my guiding question, I will first focus on the creation of the "Kinderszenen.".
