Swiss association law has significantly evolved in every respect over the past three decades. At the legislative level, there have been numerous amendments and additions to the Swiss Civil Code (ZGB), particularly concerning association law and related regulations, such as the Code of Obligations (OR), the Commercial Register Ordinance (HRegV), the Merger Act (FusG), the Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO), and the Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG). At the judicial level, the extensive publication practice of the Federal Court has led to a considerable number of well-known precedents, including rulings on condominium ownership associations, and in the field of literature, many new publications have emerged. This new edition takes all these changes into account and has been extensively revised and supplemented.
