Die Hugenotten

The "Huguenots" were a Protestant group in France during the 16th and 17th centuries, fought and oppressed - a dramatic climax was the St. Bartholomew's Night in 1572. As a result of the incipient flight movement, they became the most important migrant group of the pre-modern era.
