Die Gurkentruppe

Pig Hans lives alone in a lovely little house in the woods. But gradually, one animal roommate after another joins him. Each has special characteristics: a shy bear who only dares to venture as far as the garden gate, a rabbit with a penchant for order, a sad zebra from Africa, and a beaver who just can't sit still. Together, they form a wonderful shared living arrangement.

A children's book about how children are individualists and that supposed weaknesses don't have to be weaknesses at all.
