Die griechische Baruch-Apokalypse

The work preserved in Greek and Slavic depicts Baruch's journeys through the seven heavens. The Slavic translation generally represents an excerpt from the extensive Greek book. The whole is based on a Jewish original text; it may trace back to Essene circles due to its detailed angelology. Later, Christian additions were included.
