Die Götter der Edda

In the beginning of time, there was emptiness and darkness - an endless abyss. The Edda recounts the beginning and end of the world, the gods, and their adventures in the Old Norse tradition. This work provides a compilation of parts from the Edda and the Prose Edda in a German adaptation of the original. Preceding the songs are two introductory texts that present the mythology of the gods and provide an overview of the Norse deities to facilitate the understanding of the individual texts.
