Nobody wants to stay long in the apartment building in Prenzlauer Berg. The stairwell is haunted by an old piano teacher. Who was that woman? In Kreuzberg there is a large haunted house, the Bethanien Hospital, today the Künstlerhaus. Sarah Khan goes on a nightly ghost hunt and uncovers the secret of the enchanted building, in which the ghost of Theodor Fontane, who worked there as a pharmacist, was already sighted 160 years ago.
In her stories Sarah Khan tells of glass backs with the Stasi, fearful gothys, white cats, a timid pop star in an East Berlin skyscraper, and many other hair-raising events, inexplicable occurrences, otherworldly experiences.
