The veterinarian that unicorns and dragons trust. When Edie's parents don't pick her up from boarding school for the holidays, she is sent to her strange uncle. He is a veterinarian and runs his practice in a remote part of a large forest. Edie quickly realizes that the animals her uncle treats are extraordinary: they are mythical creatures. Among his patients are a Pegasus and unicorns. And that's not the only surprise: Edie discovers that she can communicate telepathically with animals. With this rare gift, she is invaluable to her uncle. When a distress call from the Himalayas reaches them – where a family of Yetis is suffering from a mysterious illness – the two embark on an adventurous rescue mission.
