The Women of La Principal tells the story of mothers, daughters, and sisters, of all those who dedicate themselves to a task and fight for their happiness - a happiness that remains as vibrant and fleeting as the light shining on the vineyards of their village. Spain in the summer of 1893: While her father and brothers attempt a fresh start in Barcelona, Maria must stay behind at the ruined vineyard La Principal to manage what is left of it. For her, it is the disappointment of her life; for everyone else in the village, it marks the beginning of a new era.
