Die elterliche Ablehnung der schulischen Sexualaufklärung

Sexuality is an important aspect of human life. Sex education takes place both in the family and at school. Therefore, not only parents but also schools influence the attitudes and values of children and adolescents regarding sexuality. This influence from a state institution faces resistance from some parents. In this study, parents who reject school-based sex education were interviewed about the topics they desire and reject, as well as their reasons and the consequences of school sexual education. Schools find themselves under pressure to meet all the value systems of parents—a task that is hardly manageable.
