Die Einwilligung

Paris, mid-1980s. Thirteen-year-old Vanessa meets the cultured writer G. M., who woos her with longing letters for weeks. She willingly becomes the sexual victim of this man. When Vanessa realizes how much her lover is psychologically overwhelming, deceiving, and manipulating her, she seeks help from those around her. But in vain. The artistic milieu in which Vanessa and her mother move tolerates G. M.'s fixation on minors and even boasts about his inclination. The spirit of the times makes it easy for him. Vanessa's mother also allows this relationship to continue. The police and the youth welfare office, alerted to the criminal acts through anonymous tips, pursue the case only half-heartedly.
