There are still nine days until the big quake. Shakti, Achanda, and Tarun live in a children's home, which is something like a home for them. They dream of friendship, a foster family, a motorcycle, and they experience a hint of happiness. Their parents sold them into forced labor and prostitution, but at some point, they managed to escape. They are led to believe that things will be better for them now, but of course, they know better. They are alive, they trust no one, they search for a way through the darkness and do not know how little time they have left. Literature never quite reaches reality. But reality and literature have one thing in common: they change.
