This research analyzes the media discourses on the topic of street harassment in two web portals that are part of Journalism 2.0: Infobae.com and Cosecha Roja. Street harassment is a pressing social issue that represents one of the most common manifestations of a sexist and patriarchal society, where the power dynamics between men and women are unequal and often violent. Since the shocking case of street harassment that young Aixa Rizzo fell victim to in April 2015, many Argentine media outlets have begun to report more on an evil that is deeply embedded in the national DNA.
