Die dicke Hummel Doris

Uwe Krauser was born in 1971 near Cologne and has been running a small, award-winning hotel in the Bavarian Forest with his husband Oliver for 16 years. The trained educator lived in Spain for many years but found his home in the tranquil holiday resort of Bodenmais. He prefers hiking through the partially untouched forests to strolling through the city. He has adopted two street dogs from abroad, Phoebe and Layla, who inspired him to write his three-part "Phoebe" novel series. The second part, "Layla - Heroine on Four Paws," was awarded the Silver Medal by Lovelybooks in the 2020 Novel of the Year competition and was named Book of the Month by KindofBook in July 2020. In 2021, he published his first children's novel, "Rosalie, the Firebug." Franziska Frey lives with her family by the beautiful Chiemsee. As a graphic designer and illustrator, she works for both self-publishers and publishing houses, creating books across various genres. In addition to her passion for design and illustration, she also writes her own children's stories and brings them to life with her drawings. Since 2018, Franziska Frey has been publishing her own children's and activity books under the label "FarbFux." She has been a finalist multiple times for the Marktheidenfeld Prize for Picture Book Illustration and won the Self-Publishing Book Prize in 2020 in the category of "Children's and Young Adult Books" with her book "Elise Explores the Sea.".
