Product details

Are you creative, funny, or brave? Who makes you laugh or helps you with problems? Do you know what makes you unique and where your strengths and abilities lie? In the Diamond Factory, you can discover, develop, and seek out your resource diamonds, which are your strengths!

When children and adolescents experience their self-worth as lacking in everyday life or crisis situations, accessing their respective abilities can reveal where their individual strengths lie and in what contexts they have already demonstrated them. Resource activation is considered a special mechanism in therapy and counseling. With the Diamond Factory, children and adolescents can develop a more conscious access to their own abilities in a relaxed play situation and expand them playfully.

The game board depicts a colorful factory where diamonds are produced. Players must race through the factory, answering various questions, completing tasks, and ultimately working on a selected resource. This way, a good sense of self-worth and a functional experience of self-efficacy can be built.

  • For 2-6 players, ages 7 and up, approximately 30-45 minutes of playtime (variable)
  • Suitable for individual and group settings
  • Usable in psychotherapy, counseling, social work, outpatient practices, and inpatient facilities for children and adolescents, child and adolescent psychiatry, school counseling, and more
  • Extensive game materials: 240 topic cards, 1 diamond notepad for recording discovered resources, 1 scaling stone for marking on the scaling flask, and 100 diamonds in a fabric pouch
  • Detailed booklet with game instructions and background information for therapists.
