Martin Luther's translation of the Bible into German was first published in full in 1534 and has been linguistically revised many times since then. Beyond all historical or modernised editions, this is the 'classic' version that is as reliable as it is easy to read, presented here with over 200 full-page woodcuts by Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld.
