Die Berglöwin

Eight-year-old Molly and Ralph, her ten-year-old brother, are inseparable. Together they fight against the annoying routines of everyday school life, against their overcorrect mother and prissy older sisters. And maybe even against the rest of the world. One summer, they are sent from their posh Los Angeles suburb to Colorado, where their uncle owns a ranch. There, the children are introduced to a ravishing new world - wild, beautiful, and untamed. As both their childhoods come to an end, Molly dreams of adulthood and becoming a writer, while Ralph senses his growing manhood. Childlike innocence and thrusting youth tumble inevitably toward a devastating end.
