The subject of the considerations is the historical rural building stock, which includes farmhouses, barns, granaries, troughs, washhouses and other small buildings, but also facilities of the rural trade. The time horizon stretches from the 15th to the early 20th century; after that, rural architecture lost much of its typical regional character, which was shaped by the natural and cultural environment.
