Die Auswirkungen von COVID-19 auf die Ernährungssicherheit in Mexiko

This book provides readers with information about the impact of COVID-19 on the food security of the Mexican population. The international landscape is contextualized based on the analysis and synthesis of various references, primarily annual reports. Food security has been measured using the Food Insecurity Experience Scale (FIES) and a survey on the effects of COVID-19 on Mexican households (ENCOVID-19). For this purpose, indicators for understanding the risk situation of a country have been examined. Additionally, the standards that assist in managing food security and the food aid programs focused on supporting the most vulnerable populations have been included. All these points aim to provide information about the current state of food insecurity following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
