In "The Dome" by Stephen King, the author depicts a horror scenario in which a small town is cut off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. To achieve his goals, the devout Christian does not shy away from murder. His son also guards a terrible secret in a dark pantry. A small group of dedicated citizens takes up the fight - against "Big Jim" Rennie, against the dome, and against time.
