What is the point of Christmas if you don't have a child with whom to celebrate this family holiday? For Lynette and Alain, both in their mid-forties, this question is a thing of the past. After a devastating earthquake in Peru, countless orphans are hoping for a new home, and the previously childless couple adopts little Qinaya. The arrival of the lively four-year-old with big, curious eyes turns the lives of everyone involved upside down. While some eagerly dive into their new roles as parents or grandmother, Gabriel feels mixed emotions about suddenly being a grandpa. Is it because he never found the time to be a proper father?
