Margot Kässmann, born in 1958, is one of the most well-known church figures in Germany. During and after her time as the chairperson of the Evangelical Church in Germany, she gained the appreciation and sympathy of many people with her open and straightforward manner. She is the mother of four adult daughters and the grandmother of seven grandchildren.

Lea Kässmann, born in 1986, studied German studies, philosophy, and literary studies, and has worked as an editor at a renowned children's book publisher. Today, she works full-time as an editor and press officer. Developing books for children is her great passion. She lives near Hanover with her husband and their two children.

Melanie Brockamp, born in 1973 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, studied graphic design in Hanover and worked for several advertising agencies after her diploma. Since the publication of her first children's book in 2002, she has illustrated nearly 60 children's books, which have been translated into over 10 languages. As the patron of "Hamster im Kopf e.V.," she is committed to supporting families affected by ADHD.
