Development & production of a test rig for heat pumps

The aim of our work was to develop and manufacture a new heat pump test rig to be used in the laboratory for test purposes. Previously, a very simple test rig had only been provided by EVN for a short time. As not every laboratory group was able to work with it and the school did not have an experimental setup that dealt with heat technology, the development and production of a heat pump trainer was commissioned. Safety and user-friendliness were to be guaranteed with the help of a PLC. Pupils in subsequent years are to be familiarised with an alternative, environmentally friendly heating system using this system. Ochsner provided us with a heat pump with a heating capacity sufficient for a detached house. This system enables the pupils to generate heat independently.
