Practice writing - Experience handwriting. The writing course for Swiss German basic script has been optimally adapted to the needs of children learning to write with their left hand. The left and right sides have been swapped. When writing the letters, children should not be disturbed by the binding of the notebook. Therefore, in the left-handed notebook, the practice exercises are on the right side and the lines for writing the letters are on the left side. The writing process has been modified: horizontal lines are drawn more accurately when they are pulled rather than pushed. For this reason, the writing process of some letters has been adjusted.

Presentation of the practice and writing exercises: An example of the relevant practice and writing exercise is always visible on the right margin. If the left hand covers an exercise while writing, the respective exercise is still recognizable.
