The Zurich Bible originally traces back to Zwingli and his translation circle. It was newly translated in 2007 and is now considered close to the original text, contemporary, and easy to understand. This edition is particularly suitable for personal Bible study. It includes an introduction to each biblical book and a detailed glossary with factual and theological explanations.
