German in ABU. Edition B contains 25 modules, each introducing and practicing a specific text type or area of language application. Thematically, each module relates to a subfield of general education (ABU). All modules are uniformly structured into learning objectives, warm-up activities, training phases, and learning assessments. They can be used in any order. ABU topics include: Introduction to working life; Consumption and money; Freedom, security, risk; People and economy; State and politics; Global challenges; Partnership and society; Planning a professional future; Living independently. An appendix provides an overview of the key competencies and work techniques. In simple terms, it explains how to create a mind map, plan a major project, or write a long text.
