This book is intended as a guide for advanced learners on mathematical methods in science. It covers many topics in practical statistics: descriptive statistics, frequency tables for grouped and ungrouped data, positional statistics such as mean, median, mode, quartiles, and deciles, dispersion statistics including variance, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and mean deviation, statistical tables and summaries, histograms and frequency polygons, Chebyshev's theorem, and bias.
