In the south of Dragorea lies Zwingard, the land of a thousand castles, which is regarded throughout Dragorea as a symbol of steadfastness and resilience. For centuries, the people of Zwingard have united in the fight against the orcs, but their faith is divided: more and more are following the new moon gods, while some still pray to the Vanyr, powerful nature spirits. When a young boy mysteriously disappears at Castle Nirdfest on the edge of the Riesheim Mountains, adventurers set out to rescue him from the dangers of the wilderness. However, instead of encountering wolves and bears, they stumble upon a dark ritual. What do the runes written in blood of an ancient prophecy mean? What do they have to do with the old belief in the Vanyr? And what terrible events lie ahead in the future? In The Broken Pact, the adventurers travel to the slopes of Riesheim, where they face grim rulers, forces of nature, and more.
