Der Zementgarten

A child's dream becomes reality: Dad is dead, Mom is dying and, to keep it a secret, is being cemented in. The four children - two girls and two boys aged between 6 and 16 - have the large house to themselves during the long summer holidays. As the oppressively hot, surreal summer progresses, the children's community becomes increasingly isolated from the outside world, and no one notices that something is amiss.
