A mouse is swallowed by a wolf and, to her great surprise, encounters a duck in the wolf's belly. The two have a wonderful conversation, celebrate a feast, eat to their hearts' content, and philosophize about the pleasures of being eaten. For those who have already been eaten need not fear such threats anymore. In the end, the two accomplices even manage to save the wolf from a hunter, thus defending their safe, cozy home.
