The Christmas season makes children's eyes light up - Advent calendars are opened, festivities are celebrated and pre-Christmas rituals find their way into the classroom. But the changes of winter are also noticeable everywhere in nature. The sun doesn't shine as long, the animals retreat, it's cold and it can even snow! The topics in this booklet have been prepared in such a way that they can already be used in the first weeks of class 1. Besides teaching factual knowledge about the topic "winter", the focus is on introducing the children to open learning. As with all the booklets in the series "... in early learning", a core task for the class group, suitable, differentiated tasks and additional cross-curricular work assignments are offered for each topic area.
