Der wilde Garten

A story about gardening and the wild nature. Julie and her grandfather spend the whole year in the forests, ponds, and meadows surrounding their small town. They observe the insects, birds, and other wild animals that live there, and they harvest fruits and nuts. The townspeople, on the other hand, love their community garden: with great enthusiasm, they sow, plant, harvest, and tend to flowers and trees. One day, however, plans are made to expand the city garden outward. Julie and her grandfather worry about the habitat of their wild animal friends. They must show their neighbors that the surrounding nature is a valuable and worthy habitat for many animals and plants!
