Autumn has arrived in Kivik, southern Sweden, and the apple trees are already bearing fruit. Vanja can celebrate her first art exhibition in a long time, and it will be a great success. However, a ghost from the past appears at the opening and throws her completely off balance. Her daughter Sally receives strong support in her bed and breakfast from her new boyfriend Peter, with whom she is floating in the bliss of love. But one thing won't leave her alone: she has an uncle, yet her mother Vanja remains silent about her brother. Sally has no choice but to investigate herself to reunite the family. Meanwhile, Sally's daughter Josefin finally opens her own vintage boutique, but customers are nowhere to be found. Has her dream already ended before it even began?
