Sustainability means living without compromising other regions or future generations. The foundation for this can already be laid in kindergarten. And what better way to achieve this than through fascinating forest projects, where children experience the interdependence of nature and human actions? This book presents 21 forest projects in which children explore and engage creatively in themes of sustainable development, starting from observable phenomena in the forest. They experience the journey from the germination of a tree to building blocks and learn why there is less forest area in some parts of the world. They get to know the blueberry as a native forest fruit and, while selling their homemade blueberry products at the farmers' market, learn about social justice.
