In the seventh volume of the autobiographical-poetic chronicle "The Old Century," Peter Kurzeck takes us in a major flashback to the summer of 1983 and the summer before that. Early in June, the narrator, girlfriend Sibylle and daughter Carina hitchhike to Barjac in southern France. His friend Jürgen has opened a small restaurant there together with Pascale.
