Class reading and text work made easy: The series "Reclam XL – Text and Context" meets all requirements for school reading and the needs of German lessons.

Reclam XL offers the carefully edited text – page and line identical to the corresponding edition from Reclam's Universal Library. The format is larger (12.2 x 20 cm) than the yellow classics of the Universal Library, providing ample space for notes in the margins. Difficult words are explained at the bottom of each page, with more detailed word and subject explanations available in the appendix. A materials section with text and image documents facilitates the contextualization and interpretation of the work in class. Of course, all reading guides, commentary volumes, and interpretations continue to fit with this series.
