Der Untergang der Stadt Passau

The post-apocalyptic science fiction novel describes the fate of the city of Passau after a terrible epidemic in 1981. Only a few thousand people in Europe survived this catastrophe. Bavaria was also severely affected. Passau is the only city that is still somewhat functional, where the few survivors of the disaster gather under the leadership of the mayor known as the 'Scheff.'
