Product details

On 30 October 1961, a recruitment agreement between the Federal Republic of Germany and Turkey was signed in Bad Godesberg. Hundreds of thousands of people then came to Germany from Turkey. They were called guest workers. According to the agreement, a guest worker could only work in Germany for two years, the so-called rotation principle. Then they were supposed to return home. Some did return, but many stayed. The following theatre play tells the story of one of these guest workers. It may or may not have happened in exactly the same way as in this play.
