Der Mystiker Jakob Böhme

"A miraculous phenomenon in the history of the German spirit." Schelling praised the Görlitz cobbler Jakob Böhme and his mystical-theosophical writings. Philosophers such as Leibniz and Hegel, Feuerbach and Ernst Bloch studied him as intensively as spiritually seeking people of all stripes. A new questioning has begun, how Böhme subjects God, nature and man to an overall view and how the inner way looks, which he describes. The Böhme interpreter Gerhard Wehr has selected exemplary texts of the natural philosopher and the knowledgeable soul guide. They come from the famous Aurora or Dawn in the Rising, from Boehme's dialogues and letters.
