The second case for Rizzoli & Isles from world-class author Tess Gerritsen! Detective Jane Rizzoli is called to a crime scene in an affluent Boston suburb. Doctor Richard Yeager has been brutally murdered in his own home, and there is initially no sign of his young wife, Gail. When her body is soon found in a wooded area, dark memories resurface for Jane: the cases resemble a series of murders she investigated a year earlier. The perpetrator from that time is in prison, but the new murders clearly bear his signature.
