Savings should increase and be protected as best as possible against access by compulsory heirs and creditors. This book examines the question of how a Swiss settlor can utilise a Liechtenstein trust (trusteeship) to protect assets. This is analysed and demonstrated in the Swiss-Liechtenstein context on the basis of grounds for avoidance and questions of jurisdiction in the light of a practical example, which ultimately leads to specific recommendations. A unique feature is the cross-border interdisciplinary overall view, especially as taxation in Switzerland and Liechtenstein is also comprehensively analysed and included.
