Der liebe Herr Teufel

A classic of children's literature. In Hell, there is unrest: business is bad, very bad! The Devil family is seriously worried about their existence. Devil pacts, evil whispers - nobody needs any of that these days, because people are wicked all on their own. Only one happy and kind-hearted couple, the Brunners, remains. And they resist all devilish efforts. Ironically, little Belze is now tasked with making the Brunners evil and unhappy. But Belze is - from a devilish perspective - a failure. He can neither whisper nor sew fear-inducing nightgowns, and certainly can't weave nets of lies. In short: Belze has forgotten everything he learned in Hell School. And so, unfortunately, he behaves quite terribly at the Brunners' - from a devilish standpoint. With hellishly good illustrations by Antje von Stemm.
