Product details
In the second edition, the brochure has been fundamentally revised and the structure has been optimised and adapted to operational needs. The content has also been brought up to date with the latest legal and technical developments. In many areas of vehicle loading and unloading, the loading crane has become an indispensable tool. However, its use also harbours risks that should not be underestimated. This starts with setting up the vehicle, continues with the ground conditions, attaching loads, operating the crane and dismantling before starting the journey. These risks can only be controlled by trained personnel. Anyone who thinks that they can operate the carrier vehicle and are authorised / licensed to do so, and that this also includes crane operation, is making a fatal mistake. Unfortunately, numerous accidents prove this misconception every year. Only with sufficient training in theory and practice, combined with final examinations and the issue of a certificate of competence / driving licence, is it possible to work safely and responsibly with a loader crane. In addition, appropriate training is required by law - be it in the ArbSchG, the BetrSichV, DGUV Regulation 1 "Principles of Prevention" or DGUV Regulation 52 "Cranes". This brochure is intended to be a helpful companion and reference work for both the supervisor and, in particular, the loader crane operator to ensure safe working at all times.
