Product details
The catastrophe of the First World War called for a spiritual reorientation in the 1920s. This also contributed to the rise of the anthroposophical movement. Journalist Willy Storrer (1895-1930) became involved as a publisher and magazine editor, establishing himself as a contentious and controversial founding member of the Anthroposophical Society in Switzerland, as well as the initiator of the Rudolf Steiner School movement. Furthermore, he was able to attract significant writers and intellectuals with his unique magazine Individuality, which he published from 1926 to 1930. The estate of Storrer, from which 169 selected letters are published here for the first time, reveals the wide circle that Storrer was able to captivate with his bold and unconventional initiative: it extends to the Bauhaus of Oskar Schlemmer.
