Product details

Little Mr. Death is experiencing a genuine burnout. The reason is the chickens that fall under his jurisdiction, as more and more live and die due to factory farming. Additionally, his great love, Lydia, wants to marry Lilith. Unfortunately, not him, but the super snob Johnny Hypnos. That's when little Mr. Death has had enough and loses it. To help him regain his composure, his boss, old Mr. Hades, sends him on vacation for the first time in one hundred and thirty years. At first, little Mr. Death struggles to cope with all the free time. This changes when he meets thirteen-year-old Stephan, whom everyone calls "the brat." He has run away from the cancer clinic because the atmosphere there was getting on his nerves. When the two discover that they are fans of the same death metal band, they quickly decide to form their own. From then on, they annoy all the unpleasant people with hellish howling and noise. They visit the brat's music teacher and the miserable chicken baron Zuckmayer. But their tour is not over yet. A funny, serious, and thought-provoking book that, with dark charm and plenty of humor, shows what really matters in life.
