Constance, 15th century. Jan Hus fights for his convictions: The Church of Jesus is not to be found in any building, forgiveness cannot be bought. The Catholic Church sees things differently. When Jan comes under the influence of the popes, cardinals and the German king, his message threatens to fall victim to the political conflicts. Jan's faith is put to the hardest test of his life, while in the invisible world the powers of heaven and darkness battle for the hearts of men.
