A foster mother experiences the grotesque hopelessness of being able to help severely neglected and disadvantaged children in our society. Out of powerlessness and despair, she decides to embark on a longer journey to India. Initially, she only wants to gain some distance; she never intended to truly engage with this foreign country. However, through a series of interconnected circumstances, she finds herself increasingly drawn into the colorful and mysterious India.
